How many meals should you eat per day for fat loss

There is no right or wrong amount of times you need to eat during the
day to lose body fat. For fat loss to occur you need to consume
slightly less calories than your body needs daily the timing of this
is not essential and wont directly cause more weight gain/loss. With
any diet you need to be able to adhere to it for long enough to
achieve your goal then sustain it so forcing 6 meals in a day when you
are used to eating 3 is probably unsustainable. If your calorie goal
is 2200 daily, 6x 370 calorie meals vs 4x 550 meals adds up to the
same total.

The other factor to consider when choosing a meal frequency is can you
hit your daily protein, micronutrients, fibre target. If your goal
requires 180g protein daily eating 3 meals a day means you would need
to consume 60g protein per meal which is unrealistic. Also if you are
consuming veg at every meal more meals =more vitamins minerals and
fiber for low calories which should prevent over eating
Pick a meal frequency which fits your lifestyle and you can stick to
and be flexible with it

I normally eat 4-5 times per day.
